     There was a pause in my pencil tapping when I took the time to look at the clock and realized, with some astonishment it was twenty past the hour, according to this clock. I remembered a conversation I had with a friend weeks ago about time being relative, but finding myself staring at this clock and waiting for it to become twenty-one past the hour his point seemed quite ridiculous. Sure time is relative, but so is everything else. Time was relative to what is relative to something completely different that is also relative. In fact, time is quite definite because right now, according to this clock, it is twenty-one past the hour.

Sometimes I lay back and look at the sky so that it's all i can see and I examine the color and the clouds and glance at the sun for the slightest moment. But I'm not looking up I'm looking down and the sky is a whole other world An ocean that I can dive into and the clouds will float around me and the wind will run in between my toes.
